Does not perform as advertised

overspill burned right through this product on the first use. First use was to protect the oven from overspill from scalloped potatoes baked at 350 F. The overspill burned right through the product and scorched the bottom of the oven. messy clean up. Does not perform as advertised.

Great product if you don't mind using plastic screw anchors in gypboard

This is a good looking shelf, good value and quality. However, the spacing of the mounting brackets is poorly designed. The standard width of stud walls is 16" OC, the spacing on the brackets for this shelf is 19 CC. So if you're looking for a shelf you can secure to studs, this is not the one for you. The shelf comes with wall anchors that you insert in a pre drilled hole in the wall, but common sense tells you that anchors in gypboard is fragile and not long lasting, especially for a shelf. This is a wonderful product if you don't have concerns about anchoring into gypboard with plastic anchors. Too bad the designer didn't put any thought into spacing the brackets.
