terrific book for bird attracing and watching.
1 of 1 found this helpful Living in the city I was curious as to weather or not I could attract different types of birds into my back yard. I brought this book because I thought it offered the best information pertaining to the kinds of feeders and habitat to bring the birds into my yard. As of three weeks into my experiment it seems the only birds that feed at the feeders right now are sparrows. I'm content at this present time to watch the sparrows and hope in time, and a change in the weather will bring a different variety of bird to the feeders and my yard. I think the book has opened a whole new world as to structure, gardening, and watching for different species of bird. There are many projects in the book to keep a person busy, such as the section on building your own feeders and bird houses. I would suggest this book to any novice such as my self, or anyone interested in watching or attracting new and colorful birds into your garden or yard.
