This is a good product, especially for the money.

I bought this receiver to go out in my pole shed and to replace an aging receiver that was made before cd players were even invented. I spend a lot of time out there wrenching and like to listen to music while I work. This new receiver works great for me. I've listened to FM broadcasts and Cds (after I hooked up one of my CD players) quite a bit over the last several weeks that I've had it. It sounds great, and has good channel separation. And the price is hard to beat. About the only negative I can think of is that the little indoor mono-pole antenna that comes with it is basicly worthless, especialy iside a metal pole shed. I mounted an antenna on top of my shed and ran some coax cable down to the receiver. It works great after that.

Dunlap valve design

I was totally unfamiliar with the Dunlap valve until I mistakenly bought this tube. Anyway I thought I could make this tube work for me, but it wouldn't hold air. I believe the valve stem innards are defective on this tube (that's where it leaks), and I have no idea where I can buy spare parts. I chalked it up as a ten dollar loss. I bought a replacement Schrader valve tune (same brand) which worked.
