Aluminum PC ABSl AF Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Ring Adapter for Canon Lens
I was looking for some type of Extension Tubes for my Canon camera for some time now. I had thought that I had finally found what I was looking for, but I was wrong.
Here are the things that are right about this item.
1. It's fairly cheap. Nice.
2. You get 3 different adapters. Nice.
3. They seem to be fairly well made. Nice, BUT there are problems.
4. They arrived fairly quickly. Especially since they came from China.
Here's what's wrong with this item.
1. Separating each lens adapter is a PAIN IN THE "you know where". In order to separate the lens adapters you must PUSH DOWN on a SMALL LEVER on the side of the adapters. The main problem is that the LEVER is TOO SMALL to apply enough force to release the lens adapter. IF it was bigger than it would be much easier, but it's not and that's a shame. This could be an excellent product except for this one simple fact. This simple design error could have easily fixed by making the LEVER big enough that applying less pressure would be enough to release the latch.
2. Because of the difficulty in serarating these lens adapters from each other, I am reluctant to attach them to my MAIN lens because once attached it might be impossible to unattach them. This is my main concern. Whether or not these adapters will separate easier as time goes by is a big question. But one not worth jeopardizing my main lens to find out.
I think I'll look elsewhere for another set of extension tubes. Hopefully they will be designed better with a bigger RELEASE LEVER...

Battery Grip For Canon EOS 1100D, 1200D, 1300D, Rebel T3, T5, & T6 Holder with Remote (FOLLOWUP)
This is a FOLLOWUP on my last review of this item. I had seen that this unit ALSO included a place to store the Battery Door (that you MUST REMOVE) to use this unit. Now I looked in the Instruction Manual that they included and NOWHERE does it say anything about this (so called) storage place OR even where it is located. So I went searching for it. Eventually I found it.
It is located on the vertical portion (where it inserts INTO the camera body. If you look closely you will see a cutout on one side of the vertical portion where the Battery Door (that MUST BE REMOVED) fits into. Granted, it will take you a couple of minutes just to figure out WHICH WAY it has to be inserted to fit (it did me anyway) so that the Battery Grip will insert into (AND attach) to the camera. Once you think you have it attached in the correct manner, DO NOT FORCE THE BATTERY GRIP INTO THE CAMERA BODY. IF you have it attached correctly, it will slide into the camera body EASILY and WITHOUT ANY FORCE.
This is an EXCELLENT IDEA and it's too bad the makers of this grip didn't include ANY notice of this feature when they wrote up the instruction manual. I'm sure that IF THEY DID, more people would buy this. This little attention to detail is well worth the price of this item and makes this item more valuable than the other products I looked at.
