My Vizio's best friend.

I was using traditional rabbit ears and getting fair reception here in El Paso. Now my TV has even better, clearer reception. It even added two new channels including one with lots of kids programs. As a child my family got two channels on our black and white TV and one of those was fuzzy. Now with the RCA flat antenna I am getting over a dozen clear and crisp channels. I would recommend this to anyone on a small budget. I get all four major networks: CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox. Now if I could only receive ESPN... Joe Johnson

Old dog/new tricks.

These four Physics books will be used by anew teacher to Physics. I taught math for over 40 years, but have been asked to teach Physics in a mission school next year. The four used Conceptual Physics books by PUl Hewitt Willie part of our class textbooks for next year. They all were near-mint ondition and are excellent for our students who will Ppreciate the hands on approach to Physics. I and our principal are very happy with the purchase. The books were well below sale price, a great help to our small mission school. budget. Now if I can just learn how to teach this course by next fall...

Gone with the wind

The HDTV 1080P outdoor antenna was easy to install and was working very well with my TV reception here in El Paso. However, I did discover one major drawback with using it here. We often get winds in excess of 40 mph and had several days of such winds soon after I installed it. During those wind storms the reception was much reduced in quality. Normally I can get about a dozen channels very well, but during wind storms only a few remain clear and sharp. So if you live in an area which has lots of windy days, be ready for possible decreases in reception. I actually have purchased an indoor flat RCA antenna which continues to work near 100% on windy days. It does have trouble with one or two stations on extremely windy days, but otherwise gets good reception. It is a little trouble changing back and forth between the two systems, so I usually just leave it on the flat antenna. So for now, I recommend the RCA flat indoor antenna which is half the price of the outdoor one.
