Trip down memory lane not so funny
I remember loving this movie when I was 8 yrs old. When I saw it available on DVD cheap I couldn't resist. I should have. Dick Van Dyke plays an actor mistaken for a hit man. He spends most of the movie trying to get away from the hoods, sure they will discover he's the wrong guy at any moment. Edward G. Robinson plays the king pin. I think mostly it is just that having seen so many Dick Van Dyke movies and television and Disney hijinx movies, much of the action that was supposed to be funny was quite predictable. It might make a good family movie but I wouldn't expect today's 8 yr old kids to be amused by it. It did give a few chuckles and it was nice in a nostalgic way.

Excellent live recording.
Highlight of the album for me was a sublime rendition of "Love Hurts."
