Undervalued gem
Like most people I assumed that in this knife was Average because it was a Dexter...I was quite surprised to find the fit & finish of an expensive Japanese piece on steel that rivals solingen!! I could hear the national anthem and was proud to be an American like back in the 50s as it glowed at me from the open box!! It is solid strong perfectly balanced and has a perfect heft for handling in the kitchen and on the Butcher's Block!! The flex from is perfect to double for filleting and has an amazing feel in multiple grip patterns for chicken to beef!! I really love this knife & Keep It In My Block closest to the frigde! It even says Arizona Culinary Institute on it!! I say they were Silly to give it up and I am happy to have it! My only regret is that Dexter Russell does not make one of these with a curved blade !!....you know, for deer!!then it would be hard to pick a favorite!!

Hands down the utmost !
I have always loved the tiger Elite above and beyond all other Shakespeare rods and I love all the other Shakespeare rods too . I have found these particular spinning models to be extremely versatile strong and sensitive. I prefer these over every production Rod I've used and find them to be very useful even for smaller fish while they are actually built to Haul in grouper shark stripers tarpon & the likes... they are my go-to for lots of things and probably the most serious staple to my arsenal of rods. I would say they are the standard by which other rods should be built and are only outdone by custom work of experienced rod builders who know what they are doing ! It makes fishing thoroughly enjoyable when you know you can count on your equipment!!!

For the Practical modernist
This knife combines the perfect mix of modern technology and proven high-quality materials as a lightweight compact from the field or lake to the kitchen do it all knife. It has the perfect Flex to the blades for both filleting and boning jobs combined with a unique placement for lanyard where the blade meets the handle and a finger groove that forms a guard on the compact handle offering comfort in control for multiple grip positions. I highly recommend this night for anybody who DIY their own food.
