This cue ball is too small - not made to BCA or WPA specs.
This is a good concept for a practice cue ball, simple design and straightforward to use. Unfortunately, it is not a BCA or WPA compliant ball. Mine is significantly smaller than the minimum BCA-WPA-specified diameter of 2.245". It's approximately 0.003" smaller than that. Is that significant? I'm assuming the BCA & WPA made the +/- 0.005" tolerance specification for a good reason. It is certainly within the realm of modern day machining practices to make the ball within the "broad" tolerances allowed by the BCA & WPA specs. So why isn't it?
It makes me wonder if the other Elephant balls are also out of spec.
