Good for the price but not made for a large audience
1 of 2 found this helpful My projector was a 2nd hand unit I got for 10.00 usd but worked nicely.
Size - compact and feather weight.
Sound - very good despite the small size.
Built in media player - plays from sd cards or usb flash and plays many modern formats such as avi and mp4.
Power Supply - mine came with a12 volt 2 amp power supply that gets pretty warm after a few minutes use.
I plan on trying a OS that can put out more amperage and not heat up.
Remote - mine had no remote as it was used BUT I strongly recommend one. Using a remote makes switching
movies or adjustments easier and prevents you from moving the projector when in use.
Heat - Unlike projectors with a traditional light bulb in them this unit doesn't make a ton of heat or
need a long cool down period.
LUMENS - AKA brightness - Considering this is an LED unit I think it is pretty good BUT I projected the
image on my ceiling and on a 32 inch white sheet of paper and found it hard to see.
I considered buying a movie screen for it or making a more reflective screen by placing
aluminum foil behind the white paper I was using as a screen.
Over All Review : I think it is great for what it is. I like the fact that it is energy efficient with LED light.
I also think that it would be great for people that travel a lot and have kids but this
tech is not yet good enough for lighting up a large picture for a big audience yet.
I'm going to try making a DLP TV that people throw away into a movie projector
since people throw them away in working condition or free on craigs list . ^_^
Thanks for reading
