Taylor 214ce DLX, Open Box condition, from Willcutt Guitars KY
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought myTaylor 214ce DLX from Willcutt Guitars. I got it as an ´´Open Box´´ condition for a very good price! They shipped it from KY to Miami FL, on time and really fast. I had it shipped from Miami to Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. I'm soo happy I bought this guitar! It's a replacement for my Takamine G Series, which I've been using for small and big gigs for 9 years already, I'm impressed by the resonance and vibration of this guitar! It's outstanding! I only have 2 minors withdraws:
1- The action of the neck is a little hard. I guess this is because the strings installed on the guitar are the Elixir Medium 13-56. I will be replacing them with the Custom light 11-52 when I wear them off.
2- The hinges of hard shell case look kind of cheap made. I had to adjust 2 of them with a plier since they didn't close properly.
Other than that, I´m so happy with this purchase.It´s a little pricey indeed, but the quality of this guitar is impressive. Big thumbs up to Willcutt Guitars!
