NEW Logjam Prolog

Great sound from well designed product

I was skeptical and almost didn't buy this because of the very poor online Youtube demo videos from Prolog, which fail to isolate the Logjam sound from other instruments and make no attempt to demonstrate the product's capabilities. But I took a chance and ordered it anyway, and it sounds much, much better than I expected. Strongly recommend.

Fun & durable, but poor for display

Fun as a puzzle, and made to last forever; unfortunately the inconsistency in the stain finish of the different wood pieces makes it destined for the toy box, and not on top of a coffee table.

Roylco Animal Tessellation Templates

Draw like MC Escher!

Easily traceable templates: nearly all are very good to excellent artistically. I'm a puzzle/math nerd and I love that they include multiple tessellation types: triangular, rectangular, and hexagonal using different varieties of translation, reflection, glide, rotations, and glide-reflection. They look fairly indestructible for child or adult use, but maybe not for little tykes: one bite would destroy the perfect alignment needed for reproducible drawings. I'm going to buy another set as a back up.
