A lot of complaining to an audience that would never listen.
1 of 1 found this helpful Sam Harris spends about 90% of this book recycling arguments that have been made before and in most cases made better by others. His fixation with separating liberal Christians from their more "conservative" counterparts makes many of his arguments less credible as most Christians don't make the distinction themselves.
While I agree with most of his arguments and general premises I found myself skipping through this to get it over with as it came off as the angry complains of an old man who had stopped trying to find an actual solution. The one solution he provides is that Christians should stop believing in God... lol. Well buddy good luck, because this book ain't gonna convince anyone that isn't willing to listen.
