Great value for the price!
2 of 2 found this helpful This is my 2-nd set of these small light-weight radios. They are ideal for use out in the woods and lake and are used as backup radios in case the main ones fail. Pretty good range if not in urban surroundings. The battery life is excellent at a ratio of 1-hour (rx) : 1 min (tx). The supplied chargers are flimsy but the batteries can be recharged with any good 3.2v Li-Ion smart charger & alligator clips, mains powered or solar. Please take note: YOU NEED TO RE-PROGRAM THESE RADIOS (using Chirp, model "Baofeng BF-888S") TO LEGAL FREQUENCIES IN YOUR COUNTRY BEFORE USING THEM. DO NOT TRANSMIT ON THE PRE-PROGRAMMED FREQUENCIES. Even so, you need an amateur radio license to transmit with these radios.

Gread lighting a rock bottom price!
1 of 1 found this helpful Providing you give adequate heat sinking, proper voltage and current limit, these LED's will work very well - they are bright and have a pleasant warm colour. These LED's are a good value. handle with care, I broke one by squeezing it too much on the top side!

Stacking does not always give reliable contact to the next stacked level.
While you can stack these, the pins are so thin and the housing tolerances so loose that it will make intermittent contact if there is any vibration; the female springy part of the connector won't keep a pin gripped firmly. it is therefore not a reliable connection. I wish it was better made because its not expensive.
