Great value at budget price
2 of 2 found this helpful I'm a collector of fountain pens of varius sorts so when I saw this unusual pen I knew I had to have it. What appealed to me the most was the contrast of gold Chinese designs against a glossy black body.
The pen comes with the standard twist/vacuum cartridge for drawing ink from a bottle. As with the other pens I collect, I removed the twist cartridge and replaced it with a black disposeable one. The pen is good and solid and requires very little effort to remove the cap when you pull it. This is important because I've had some fountain pens in the past that had caps so hard to remove, that when you did, the sharp momentum of pulling the pen free usually shot ink out of the nib and onto my paper. Or worse, onto my clothes.
The pen flows ink very smoothly without much scratching. Since my oldest daughter likes horses, I gave the pen to her. Once in her hand, she quickly sketched out a horse to try it out. Plus, since the pen has a good 'blingy' appearance, it suits her quite well.
In all, I'm quite pleased with my purchase and recommend it for those who want to write with a little style.

Amazing pen.
The finish and coloring of this pen are more impressive than the photo. The pen has a great solid feel about it. But best of all, is how it handles. Most fountain pens that I've used-including a few high end ones, have a certain amount of 'scratchy resistance' as the nib writes across the surface of paper. But this pen glides smoothly as I write with very little pressure needed on the nib to make the ink flow. For the price this is a really great value and you wouldn't be disappointed with the purchase. About the only thing I changed was removing the plunger style refillable ink cartridge and replacing it with a disposable one.

A Simple, Effective Sling
1 of 1 found this helpful One of the biggest frustrations of being an avid air gun enthusiast is trying to find a decent, workable sling. Especially for break barrel air rifles. So when I saw this item I naturally had my reservations. I'd read the description about how it attatched but still wasn't so sure, but I figured, 'well, let's give it a try.'
The package arrived in a good timely manner and was packaged in a clear container. After removing it I noticed it's overall simplicity. There are no instructions on how to attatch it to your rifle but after looking at it for a minute or two you realize that it can only go on one way...the large loop fits over the butt stock, the small one over the barrel.
What I like is the padded strap and overall elasticity of the sling. My Remington Express air rifle weighs well over seven or eight pounds and this sling takes off a lot of that weight, making it sit well over my shoulder. I like it so much that I'm going to order another one for my Swiss Arms air rifle, which also has a considerable heft to it.
