The Man of Bronze Doc Savage done right! GoHero 1:6 scale figure. A+
1 of 1 found this helpful GoHero's Doc Savage Silver Age and Double Danger Deluxe 1:6 scale figures are awesome for Doc Savage fans (or those new to the character). My introduction to Doc Savage was in the late 60s when James Bama painted the covers for the Bantam paperback reprinted stories from the 1930's by Kenneth Robeson (Lester Dent). The ultra realistic covers, the fast moving adventure stories, and Doc's commitment to helping mankind were great stuff for me as a young teenager. Bama's covers even encouraged me to pursue art on my own. In the 70's Marvel Comics had a short lived Doc Savage series that adapted some of his earlier adventures and then after a short run movie on the character produced a wonderful series of black and white magazines. Seeing GoHero's Doc Savage brought back all those memories but having the figures in hand was a treat too. The sculpt of the Silver Age Doc does justice to the look Bama gave him and the die cast metal accessories taking from some of the same artwork make this a unique figure (the first ever of the character). I liked it so much as I said I got both the Silver Age and Double Danger Deluxe versions. The craftsmanship, the in scale clothing, the custom painted body make this a treat to behold. I think they are worth every penny of the asking price. and I am glad I got them. And he also doubles as figure model for my studies of James Bama's work. Win win!. Highly recommended.

Classic Neal Adams wrap-around cover & great Justice League reprints. Super
What's so special about the DC 100 Page Super Spectacular # 6? Awesome Neal Adams wrap-around cover featuring The Justice League and Justice Society of America (this cover has influnced other artists and can be seen in such work as Alex Ross Kingdom Come covers). It includes the classic Justice League of America 2 part "Crisis on Earth-1" and "Crisis on Earth-2" which paved the way for the DC "Crisis" series of the future. Some great Hawkman, Johnny Quick, Spectre, and an original unpublished Wildcat tale backup features. I owned this when it came out in 1971 and it is still a great buy today. As far as reprints and Neal Adams covers go this is a classic all it's own. They don't get much better than this one.

ZC Toy 1/6 scale Muscular Male Nude Figure
I like to use figures like this for drawing purposes. The realistic flesh-like upper torso and arms is perfect for my anatomy studies. Also it does make a great base for custom figures especially if they are to be clothed. The upper body human like appearance (even with rubber skin texture) and artfully placed joints make this a great base figure buy with an added touch of realism. I liked it so much I got another. Good quality and value. A+
