An interesting book containing a comprehensive range of fashion fabric types.

This is an interesting book that has samples of a wide range of fabrics. Most are presented in their natural colours. The samples are large enough to allow you to feel and stretch the fabrics. The book explains the construction of the various fabrics. Although expensive this is an invaluable work for keen dressmakers and those working in design. If you want to know the difference between cotton duck and cotton lawn then this is your book. Not only does this book cover the common fabrics but has some really unusual ones.

Good signal generator and really good value

I am really impressed by this device. Viewing the sine wave on a decent analogue scope I can see a very well formed trace with no perceptible distortion. The saw-tooth wave is also excellent. As per usual the square wave is a compromise but the rise and fall slopes are fast and well defined. The CD provided was damaged but I was able to find suitable software on the Internet. The software is not very user friendly but can be used to set up composite waveforms.
