Better than described except turned out to be from the 1932-1952 period but no worries there as it's still a great collectable, even better than initially thought because a number 54 is rather common in the later 1952-58 period but practically unheard of the prior one! Love the patina though the bat hardly looks used at all. A quick coat of boiled linseed oil and it shines again! Fantastic communication every step!

Dover Publications - Bert Randolph Sugar Baseball Cards
These Bert Randolph Sugar books are a great way to get a look at some very rare and valuable baseball cards. Quite inexpensive, the cards are nevertheless very nicely reproduced. Perfect way to decide on certain sets or individual cards to collect.
