Good item
Nice to have the OEM part that includes the rubber shaft plug that most others do not.

Find a different system
I bought my kit through a foreign seller. The kit arrived with a European plug on the power supply so I had to buy an adapter which the seller reimbursed me for. The kit contains virtually no set-up instructions. With the help of instructions from another vendor, I get it set up fairly easily. It worked for about 1 1/2 weeks then quit. After 6-8 hours of resetting, reconfiguring, etc. over several days, I gave up. The resetting is a pain. The USB LED would no longer light. I don't know at this point if the problem is with the R36 box, the antenna, the wire, or the booster. Since several friends have had their kits stay working, I ordered a duplicate kit from a domestic vendor who has good service. Communication with the original vendor has been unsatisfactory. I'll be packing up the original kit and sending it back to the foreign seller.
A friend discovered that after an incoming WIFI outage, the R36 unit must be unplugged from the wall then plugged back in to re-recognize the WIFI signal. This is an unacceptable design by Alfa. The booster that the antenna connects to is set up for mounting on a pole and it should have a provision for mounting on a flat surface also.
If you buy this kit, buy only from a good domestic vendor who will provide instructions, set-up assistance if necessary, and a good return policy. This kit is overly complicated for many people to set up and use. When it works, it works well other than the loss of incoming WIFI signal problem.

Needs omprovement
Kit did not include instructions or the proper tool to remove the security screws. It took over an hour to change the battery in my phone. I downloaded instructions from the internet which helped.
It all worked after I got done, but a big hassle, mostly due to the iPhone construction but the missing instructions and tool would have been a big help..
