Canon T6s
1 of 2 found this helpful I had been thinking about replacing my Canon T3i for some time and found a good deal for the body on EBAY. I have several lenses so I didn't need anymore lenses.
The controls are similar to my older T3i and the subtle changes are an improvement over the older camera. I really like the larger sensor and one of my reasons for upgrading the camera was to photograph the solar eclipse coming in August of this year. Using a cropped sensor camera with a long lens effectively gives me a longer lens that I'm counting on for a better image of the sun during the eclipse.
I also shoot with a Canon 5D MkII and it has a LCD display on the top of the camera body and this T6i also has that feature. It makes it easier to see the settings on the camera without having to look at the rear display to check the setting.
I'm very pleased with my purchase...

1 of 1 found this helpful This lens is one of the three top rated lenses for astrophotography and I was pleased to find one for sale. It is all manual, you have to set the f stop and focus yourself. Nothing is automatic but I was pleased with the results.
