Roland mesh delivers
As electronic drums go all I’ve played are Roland TD-10 and this product. The newer drums have a different feel as the TD-10’s and are helpful for practicing. It transfers over to my acoustic DW collectors series, but as a snob that loves acoustic drums it will never be the first choice.

Performance Series Snare with Collectors Series Sound
This is the 2nd DW Snare I own. My first a vintage 4X14 Collectors Series Maple Snare was in the infancy of DW breaking out. That snare throw off needs to be replaced but this new version is exceptional. With the flick of a pinky I can go from snare to drum in a millisecond. My only complaint with DW hardware is the lugs never stay tensioned and I am tuning on the fly constantly. Great sound. I'll be going into the studio to play a combination of beats/sounds and that's where the final test results will be realized.
