Swann camera
1 of 2 found this helpful Good quality camera with great image. But I'm personally disappointed with the motion detection technology used in this and most all similiar grade consumer camera systems. The sensitivity level and noise filters are near useless. A typical 'game' camera you tie to a tree has more intelligent motion detection function. These cameras lead to hundreds of ridiculous 'false triggers'. It matches pixels from one frame to the next. The smallest tiniest change in sunlight or even an insect trigger this camera.... I am overwhelmed trying to fine tune this and am on the verge of giving up. Solid build. Run pretty warm soon after powering up but they are average for the cost range and may serve you well for your own application. Even the one I placed indoor kept triggering with no one home. As far as I can tell reviewing the recording the camera may be triggering itself with subtle flickers of the camera. Puzzling for now !
