Nice Replica Lock

I always liked this style of padlock after first seeing a brass one when I was a kid on a railway switch post. Actual working vintage locks of this type being beyond my budget, I've purchased several different replicas and this is one of the best. It's well-built, accurate in detail, and works as smoothly as most of the locks of this design. The hasp is overlarge in proportion to the body, which detracts from the aesthetics, but is perfect for what I use the lock for. If planning to use one for actual security, be aware that while they look formidable, they are not as rugged as most modern padlocks and no match for bolt-cutters or determined thieves with hacksaws or large hammers.
