Best bang for your buck!
2 of 2 found this helpful I'm an audiophile on a shoestring budget, and I don't think you'll find a better center channel speaker for the money - not in this price range, anyway. My daughter blew my old Infinity that I thought was pretty good, but this is so much better, I'm glad she did! The bass port in the back gives it a nice, full range, yet the sound is not muddy at all. Dialogue is clear and vocals are crisp. The tweeter is silky smooth. The highs never get piercing or distorted.
If you are accustomed to a $1,000 speaker, this may not satisfy you, but I'd put it up against speakers in the $300-400 range.
