Convenient, intelligent, and high-quality photos

After reading reviews of this Pixma MP560's photo print quality, I ordered one and can say I'm not the least bit disappointed in that regard. I have used the duplex-printing feature which - along with anything else communicating wireless between it and the computer - is insufferably slow. Having said that, wireless setup was easy for me, though I haven't tried connecting with a cable and don't know how cumbersome switching between the two interfaces would be. The software provided, while rather clunky with its numerous and varied modules, is useful and productive nonetheless. This printer goes through black ink quickly, primarily using the large black cartridge. Printing blacks in color photos is mostly accomplished mixing the CMY inks and so the smaller photo black cartridge will appear barely used when all the others begin to empty. I called Canon on this and we determined this is not unusual for this printer. Canon support was easy to reach and the representative knowledgeable.
