MY NEW FAVORITE!
I bought this lens to use on my Sony a6000 with LA-EA2 adapter. It is now my favorite lens. Image quality is very sharp although I have seen slightly sharper images on other lenses. The lens paired with the adapter adds quite a bit of weight to the camera so I do use a tripod most of the time. Using it handheld is pretty easy since the adapter creates an extra place to grip the camera. You will have to be aware and careful when using this lens since the auto focus ring at the end of the lens turns by itself. You can easily have your fingers in the wrong place when the lens is trying to focus. The motor does make some noise but not enough to be annoying. It has very fast focus even on the adapter and rarely takes a bad photo. Definitely a good purchase.

Great but not perfect
This item arrived in excellent condition and on time. Images are fantastically crisp with gorgeous color. Works really well adapted to my Fujifilm X-T2. Unfortunately the macro function is not so great. When set to macro, the lens exhibits lens creep, so keeping subject in focus is not so easy. The addition of macro to this lens feels like a last minute mistake and is not well thought out. Luckily I don't use it for macro photography. If you're looking for macro, don't bother with this lens. If you are looking for that stunning color and crispness you'd expect from Minolta, then definitely give this lens a shot. It's a little heavy but barely noticeable after a few minutes. Beautiful for landscape photography.

Excellent Alternative
3 of 3 found this helpful This camera has excellent image quality, nice size and weight and is very easy to use. If you're not printing huge enlargements then this is a great choice. Images are beautiful and clear.
