Funny looking stainless
This advertised as stainless steel but the plating is coming off, revealing copper plating underneath the chrome plate. I think it's just chrome plated mild steel.

Seems a bit weak
I used this once and it struggled to insert the pin. I doubt it would do another as it started to bend in the final stage. At one point, I thought it was going to break. Pretty cheap and nasty. OK if you only need to fit one chain.

Heavy Duty
Unlike the flimsy plastic and thin metal flick combs, you can buy, these are strong and well made. The spring works well and there is not much sideways play in the blade. Quite a heavy and robust device. I use it on my dog as it's handy to carry around.
