Not a direct replacement but works

I bought this to replace one just like it, or so I had hoped. The first pic is of the older style switch. The second is of a newer style (look closely at the light button from pic to pic). My hopes were to not have to drop the fan to replace the receiver, but to just change the switch. I guess the codes are different as I set the dip switches the same as the old one, but alas it didn’t work. I had to drop the fan and change the receiver. All is well now, but was more work that I anticipated. One bright spot on the new one is that there is a setting in the dip switches for use with non dimmable fluorescent and LED bulbs, the old had no such option.
