Spunky and Tadpole
Being a baby boomer, I guess you could say that TV and I grew up together. I watched Howdy Doody, had my Captain Midnight Decoder Ring, and I saw every cartoon ever made. I had completely forgotten about this one. I hadn't seen it in over 50 years. The minute the music began I remembered it, and felt 10 years old again. I haven't felt that way in some time.
The movie quality was good as were the memories. I still can't believe that I had forgotten about this on. Not too many of us left that will remember "Spunky and Tadpole" - or Trolley Cars and Luncheonettes.
The cartoon made me smile again. Give it a try, and while your at it try "Ruff and Redy" - Terrytoons - and all that good stuff thats still floating around, from when it was a kinder and easier world to live in..Peace......Jim
