Does what it's supposed to do
14 of 14 found this helpful Does it heat the water? Yes.
Only purchase this product if you're able to figure things out without the assistance of the install/owners manual. This heater was made for the European customer. I say this because many of the notations are in metric and the manual is clearly a poorly translated version of a foreign language. It leaves you guessing as how to properly operate the heater. It doesn't tell you what the "winter-summer" knob does. (It gives you a bigger flame.) It doesn't tell you that when you flip the switch on the bottom of the unit the LED light isn't supposed to light. (It only lights when the unit is in full operation.) It doesn't tell you what the short included hose is untended for (I still haven't figured it out.)
The cheap plastic shower wand has no "on-off" switch so the only way to stop the water is to turn off the water supply at the source.
By the time you buy all the parts and pieces to make the unit operational via a garden hose and LP tank you're better off spending a couple more bucks finding a different unit that has the hose adapter, LP regulator, and higher quality shower head.
