A good start to Marvel reprinting their finest artists
It's a shame Marvel switched black and white art to "coloring books". This volume of Thor Essentials features a solid 500+ pages of John Buscema with one issue by his brother Sal, the first volume after Kirby left the book. It also features issues that are not available in the Epic Collections yet, and remember there are more issues reprinted in each Essential volume than in the Epics and the great Marvel artists' work looks all the more impressive without the color.
Until Marvel gets smart enough to put together collections of their greatest artists from the fifties and sixties, make mine Essentials. Try to imagine big paperbacks of Russ Heath war and western comics or early art from John Romita Sr. or Gene Colan. They've made a fairly good job of reprinting lots of the old giant monster comics but there is so much more that they could be collecting.

Another great season
Game of Thrones continues to astonish with great storylines for a plethora of characters and lots of surprises, especially for someone like me who hasn't read any of the books.
There's an amazing end to this season that has me impatiently awaiting the next, final season. But there are plenty of commentary tracks and extra features to savor during re-watchings of the entire series. The series really rewards going back to the earlier seasons when you discover all the ways they set up the conflicts you've seen in the later ones. I'm looking forward to going back and watching the earlier episodes, some for the fourth or fifth time.
