You'll never want to write with another pencil again!
The Original Quicker Clicker mechanical pencil is the most fabulous, wonderful pencil ever made. What makes it so great, you may ask. One thing is the feel of the barrel. It is uniformly smooth, top to bottom, and just the right circumference to feel perfect in your hand. Also, the Clicker part is a button near your fingers which you can push when you need a little more lead, making advancing the lead a seamless exercise, as if it is part of your writing. The eraser is sturdy and does its job well.
My favorite lead for Sudoku and crossword puzzles is a soft 0.9mm lead. I used that lead with this pencil for years keeping the official scorer's book for a small college basketball team in the area. It's the only pencil I've used for the past 31 years.
I cannot tell you how devastated I was when I discovered Pentel no longer made these pencils. The Quicker Clicker pencils you can buy in stores these days have a rubber grip on the barrel, which makes it feel awkward to hold.
A few years back I found some of the Original Clicker Pencils for sale in Uruguay, and I bought some! That's how desperate I was to make sure I never ran out of these pencils.

Good but not great
I am an avid Clive Cussler-Dirk Pitt fan and have read all the Dirk Pitt novels several times. I anxiously await the paperback release of all Cussler's Dirk Pitt novels, and was ecstatic when I could buy Black Wind in paperback. However, I must admit that this is my least favorite Dirk Pitt novel. I got bogged down several times in meaningless details. The novel seemed to lack a certain crispness and passion that is common in Cussler's earlier works. All Dirk Pitt fans need to read this novel, but don't expect too much.
