Sweet count down story
This is a sweet count down story. Each stanza rhymes so that the child knows what the next number is. My 5 yo likes to have it read to her.

Catchy songs in Spanish, for little ones
I had this DVD for my older children, but it got scratched over the years. I just replaced it for my little one. The animations held her attention. Jose sings each song through in English and Spanish. The animation is definitely older computer generated. But it does what it is supposed to do- introduce Spanish to little ones in a format that they will watch over and over allowing them to learn the songs and be ready to learn some Spanish.

St. Catherine of Siena
This is a sweet telling of the life of St. Catherine of Siena. It is listed for older children. But I have been reading it out loud to my almost two year old (who is named for St. Catherine) and my 4.5 year old son. They both enjoy listening and my son in particular asks me to read a chapter. He gets sad that I only read one chapter at a time.
