Nice bag for gigging or storage
This is a nicely made bag that provides ample room for many cymbals—probably more than you should or would want to lug around in it, at least for any distance. At the moment I am just using it for storage, but it is easily holding an 18”, an 18” China with a square bell, two 15” and two 16”, a 14” and two 10” splashes. It should easily accommodate the 22”ride I will add to it. Note that the outside pocket will probably fit 15” hats, but it will be tight. The 14” cymbal fits comfortably
I also have a cymbal safe which does store a number of cymbals in a smaller footprint, as the bells stack, and you can lay it down and throw something relatively light on it—like a floor tom in its soft bag—without risk to the cymbals. With a soft bag the bells are all in different places, and without the dividers (this bag has dividers and can hold 4 cymbals and a set of hats with only the hats touching) they will rub up against each other. However, cymbal safes don’t handle Chinas well and, getting a few large felt drawstring bags meant for storing shoes and luggage allows you to put a cymbal, a bagged cymbal, and a cymbal in each of the compartments of this bag without the cymbals touching, which is 12 cymbals plus hats. More than I would want to carry! In addition, bags like these allow you to take out any cymbal at a time without removing any others, which you can’t do with a cymbal safe.
I can’t comment on its durability as I am not taking it to gigs, but I imagine it would give most drummers many years of dependable service. Would be nice if they had a separate pocket for the hi-hat clutch, but that is easily stashed within a hardware bag. All in all, a great purchase.

These are fantastic if you have a wall activated plug or lamp without a dimmer control. Just toggle the switch to get the light level you want/need. Wish they made a 100 watt version. Wish Phillips didn’t discontinue. : (
