Never in a Hurry
I've never been disappointed in any of Naomi Shihab Nye's work. This collection of essays about people and places gives insight into her culture and the varied and colorful, sometime painful experiences in people's lives. She is an excellent writer and deserves the acclaim she's receiving from the literary world and her readers. I am definitely a fan.

Words Under the Words
This collection of poems by Naomi Shihab Nye take the reader to scenes with the author's family and travel with her as she explores the diverse and often complicated cultures mingling in America. A lovely writer and excellent poet, Ms Nye's poems will not disappoint most lovers of contemporary poetry.
