Digitrax BDL168 LocoNet Occupancy Detector 16 Section Bob The Train Guy

Good when it works! Pain when it doesn't

Mixed review. When it works, it is great. I have purchased 5 of these. Only two worked out of the box. 2 had to go back for warranty repair, of which one is still there!!! The third caused the DCS240 to shutdown every time the track power was turned on. Argued, and still do, with Digitrax because they say it's my engines that shut it down. I say everything is fine until I hook up the BDL168. I finally solved the situation by adjusting the timing of the command station to shut down because of a short. But that still doesn't absolve the BDL168. Digitrax has a problem with these boards that they won't admit.
