This is your Puppy!
2 of 2 found this helpful I've had this tire on the front of my Specialized Enduro for the last 2400 miles. I've gone through two DHR II tires and one Aggressor in the time that I've had this up front. I've ridden it for hundreds of miles in Moab (where tires don't seem to last long), over roots in Oregon, and in bike parks in Utah. It has handled it all.
The tire seals up nicely with Orange and has required minimal additional fluid every 6-8 months. I've never had a tear, bulge, torn knob, morphing, pinch, etc.. And after 2400 miles it still has about 3.5mm tread on the center knobs.
I've heard that the 2.5" sizing is inaccurate and this has partially been true for me. Right now the tire measures about 2.45" on the body of the tire and the tread. When I first got this tire I believe it measured about 2.35-2.4 on body width and just slightly wider on the tread width.
This isn't the lightest or fastest rolling tire but the benefits far out weigh the negatives to me. This tire gives me an extreme amount of confidence in corners, loose rock, steep descents, and pretty much any situation what could make you soil yourself and so I ride harder and faster. I'm sure this tire has also made those environments safer for me as well.
