Works good
1 of 1 found this helpful It was able to read my SanDisk 64 GB micro sd card just fine, and also read my Samsung 32GB EVO micro SD card fine as well. Transfer rate with crystal diskmark is about 20MB's read and write. if you use the SD adapter instead of the micro SD slot it is 10 MB 's... and if you use and micro SD adapter made to fit in the Sony smart media port it is 13MB's transfer speed. I did not have a fast Compact flash adapter to test speed on that port. but it did read 64MB sd card in a Sony compact flash to micro sd adapter.
20 MB's transfer rate is plenty fast for what I need this for.
I did not try out the 1394 fire wire port because I do not have a low profile computer to plug it into. The card reader and single USB port works just fine without that card plugged in.
I hope this review helps others decide if they want to purchase this or not.

Just as fast as the EVGA GT 640 SC
I have both the EVGA GT 640 SC 2GB and this Galaxy card. I ran performance benchmark 8.0 on both and they had the exact same results in 3d and 2d within 1% of each other. The EVGA may or may not last longer I have no idea, but they have same benchmarks

These Elfeland 30 watt solar panels are actually only 20 watt output.
5 of 5 found this helpful These Elfeland 30 watt solar panels are actually only about 20 watts. They come with a nice long cord and alligator clips so you can charge batteries and they work fine however they are not the rated output that it shows. Also the the diode on these are incorrectly installed as a bypass diode instead of a blocking diode. This means if you leave the solar panel hooked up to your battery it will drain it back down overnight. I had to use my soldering iron to remove the diode that it came with and reinstall it as a blocking diode. Otherwise it would drain my battery at night. Bypass diodes are only advantageous on large higher voltage solar arrays where the solar panels are wired in series.
