Carter M6624 fuel pump
1 of 1 found this helpful Ordered this pump to replace one on the block that the diaphragm had let loose from age, and the picture looked like this was the one I needed. Received in short order and sure enough, the pictures and description were right on the money. The pre-bent output line to the carb and filter lined up just as the old one did, so I am off and running again.

OEM style ALUMINUM (as original) door panels
I hesitated on ordering these, but the outcome turned out to be just what the doctor ordered, and they look great!
I've owned a 1500 Custom 72 GMC SWB for about 20 years now, and the model I have does not include these aluminum door panel inserts. I have the "parchment" color plastic panels that DO have the stainless surround, ie; Custom model. The driver side developed a series of holes or punch-throughs right above the armrest, but was all inside the SS trim Taking the SS trim off is no big deal- just straighten out the nails that are bent over holding it in place. When you get the trim off, you will see a bunch of holes where the nails go through, and these wood grained inserts lay down and the notches you see in the picture line up perfectly with the holes. In my view, this is the only way to go. Replacement panels are only available in black, they do not have the holes in them for the SS trim, they are cheap flimsy plastic, and they do not line up to the holes in the door when putting them on. OEM panels are cast in the plastic trim color of your truck and are of much better quality.
So here is the meat of this review- just like the title of these door panel inserts I am reviewing, they are only good for a 1972 model year. If you have a 1972 GMC or Chevy and you have the stainless trim, these aluminum panels are the ticket and fit up perfectly- You will need a bit of patience to do this, but I must say that it was definitely worth it for me and my truck. These wood grained inserts dress up the doors nicely, and they are of good quality.

Stainless Steel grill parts- no more rust-away!
Replacement grill parts made in stainless steel are always a welcome idea in an oceanside environment. The hardware currently in the outdoor Vermont Castings grill are severely deteriorated as a result, so I am replenishing the internal hardware with SS pieces where possible.
