A great addition to a drummers tool bag.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Emad head is the second I've purchased and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I love the sound of the bass drum using this type of head. No drawbacks as far as I can tell. The dampening ring stops extraneous ringing after the drum is struck. Not having to worry about the extra sound makes it easier to concentrate on playing along with the band.
