These Are Must For Me

Great added protection as well as helping against/preventing light flare. I can't imagine buying the OEM one when these are totally fine. It fits perfectly. Only one con, which is perhaps also a pro. The control ring is so close to the hood that it can feel cramped, or another way of looking at it is that it gives you extra space to rest whilst preventing you from accidentally touching the glass. Overall, a no-brainer to include.

Some will argue you don't need one with modern digital cameras. Some say it speeds things up in a needed way. And even this can get controversial. Prices vary a bit, as ever......It does what it says on the tin. I had something coming up where speed was a must, and this helped me with the way I like to (one and done) set up.
