I can not believe that i have gotten along without compression for so long.
I have tried a couple but did not care for them much. They were somewhat difficult for me to use and really did not take me where I wanted to go. Until now. I had read a couple of reviews about the Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone so I thought I would bid on one. To use an overused word again, Awesome. I can not believe my ears. Incredible sustain and pumped up harmonics. Plus musical feedback at living room or small stage monitor levels. Rhodes style triplet runs come alive with Hendrix-ish feedback and Gibbons like harmonics. And this is all without extra gain or pedals. The pricing of these is pretty good. A $50 compressor cannot compare with this. And it is made in the USA. I really can not say enough about this. My description will only be limited by words. You have to hear it to believe it. Get yours now.
I emphatically recommend this to everyone.
