My goal is to rescue vintage electronic audio devices that would otherwise be discarded or self destruct through lack of preventative maintenance and put them back in the hands of appreciative audiophiles. I do this as a hobby besides my 40 hour job

Mine came from Seattle Goodwill with no instructions or remote. Couldn't figure out how to get the surround speaker output to work. the receiver did not seem to have much power. I drove a pair of old Cheap R.S. Speakers and had volume cranked and not even loud enough for t.v. It does work and was not a bad deal for the money. When I saw that it was an Elite receiver I was expecting an older higher quality vintage model more suited to Home Audio. As of now I have nothing but the original speaker on my t.v. hooked up. I will look for some speakers for it. One think I don't like Pioneers power ratings. 100 watts average into 6 ohms? What is that?? give me RMS ratings and stop trying to manipulate the specs.

If you enjoy rock or pop music these phones are for you!
I had these headphones in the past and loved them. Superb Bass (The best I have ever heard). It's like having built in dual 15" subs. I had to buy another pair because the cords don't stand up. My originals were about 4 years old. I managed to get a few more years out of them by soldering a radio shack plug when the frail wires broke inside but could not do it a second time. The wires are as small as human hairs and difficult to solder.
The sound may not be quite as accurate as my Klipsch S4 but overall I would choose the V Moda Bass over the Klipsch.
Klipsch keep coming loose from my ears and losing their seal even with the largest inserts. V Moda's are terrific for Rock and Roll music as well as pop. The bass you can actually feel. It pretty amazing for a $ 30.00 item.

Great Sounding Album. The King at his Best
I usually love live albums despite their sound Quality. Most do not sound even close to Studio Version in quality. This is the best sounding Live album I have ever heard. And the King is Fantastic as Usual. His voice could shatter a wine glass and the lyrics will scare the grey out of your hair. King is a the Best Singer EVER. This is an amazing Compilation that every Rock and Roll Fan should Own.
