easy to install. Automatically activates. Can't comment on whether it detects a fire, because I haven't had one yet. I sure hope so!

Just the basics, done very well

This is a well-made scale that's easy to use. It's just weight-- no body fat, calorie requirements, body mass index, etc measurements that other scales do that probably aren't right anyway. I like that it uses normal AAA batteries. It registers quickly, and the numbers are easy to read--even if you need glasses and you're not wearing them. It does have a memory, though-- so if you wanted to double-check it and re-weigh yourself, it'll won't really weigh you all over again. It'll just re-display the same weight. You need to wait a few minutes and try again; or pick up something heavy to make the weight change, then re-weigh yourself. Buying this on eBay is a great way to get the same scale delivered from the same place as elsewhere (you know where), but less expensive. I would definitely recommend this scale.

Works well and great smell

The quality is good, and it has an invigorating tingle. The fragrance isn't perfumy or heavy and it doesn't overpower.
