The ultimate headlamp.
Can't see any room for improvement here, in either design or execution. All the features you've always wished your older - and costlier - headlamp had. From a locking feature, so that, having accidentally been turned on, it doesn't come out of your pack with dead batteries when you really, really need it, to a very useful dimming feature, this one has it all, at a price that doesn't make you feel like you're paying about 75% extra for a logo. Time to upgrade, whether the old one still works or not. Sure glad I did.

If you don't absolutely have to have a Smart Phone.....
1 of 1 found this helpful ......This is an excellent choice. With this purchase, I am replacing a VX8350 that I've used for a couple of years now. I don't really expect anyone to believe this, but I put my old one through an entire cycle in a front-loader washing machine - didn't realize it until it was thumping around in the dryer - and, after I let it dry out buried in a bowl of rice for five days, it powered up and ran! The only reason I'm replacing it is that I've never liked the color of my old one, which was a gift. What is particularly cool about these phones is that you can import your own ringtones with a $3.00 USB data cable, available from a variety of eBay sellers. Download a song that you associate with one of your friends and import a 30-second clip of that song into the "My Ringtones" folder, using free software from Bitpim.org. You can store dozens of these homemade ringtones and assign specific ones to each of your contacts, so you know who's calling while the phone is still in your pocket. I've found that battery life is excellent - well in excess of two hours of yakking if you're in decent coverage - and this phone will find coverage in places that some of my previous phones would not. These phones are dirt cheap these days, now that everyone just has to have a smart phone, so if you're like me, and don't happen to be addicted to smart phones (The world isn't going to end if I don't see my e-mail until I get home.), this is the best deal you'll find for a cell phone.

1 of 1 found this helpful Turns out you don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on an MP3 player - unless logos are that important to you. Can't for the life of me figure out why Coby discontinued these, but snap one - or more - up when you see them on eBay and you'll be glad you did. Roughly 20-24 hours playing time per charge, easy to navigate the file system, large, easy-to-read screen for oldsters. What's not to love?
