I bought this book because it is on next year's list for Battle of the Books. I have not read it myself.

Great Companion When Reading The Bible
A friend had this book and I decided to get it as well. There are so many cool features. It has pictures that help you understand Biblical descriptions such as the Tabernacle. It has lists of Biblical references such as 100 prophecies of Jesus. It also has great maps that show Biblical times compared to today.

Pig is (NOT) really a Star, But He Sure Is Funny!
The Pig the Pug series is a crack-up and this book is no exception. The wonderful illustrations make it especially funny. Pig is a naughty little pug, and this book teaches children about the dangers of needing constant attention. It is also a book that is readable for children in the earlier stages of learning to read.
