Go by the Pictures and NOT the description!

These are NOT leather suspenders. They are elastic... rather weak elastic at that. Probably not best for a Big & Tall person. The price? Well, you get what you pay for. In terms of value for dollar? I would say they were about right.

A Brand New Swiss Champ For The Cost of these Scales

I have had my Swiss Champ for years now... and it shows. Mechanically it is perfect. However, the scales had become scratched and chipped. Neurotic meets Fastidious. I like my knives looking GOOD. I was considering biting the bullet and buying a brand new Swiss Champ. Sticker Shock!!! The prices have definitely gone up since I purchased mine. Then I got the idea of simply replacing the scales. One of the best ideas I have had! My knife now looks like it did when it came out of the box... and it cost me less than $20. This was a God send. I am a VERY satisfied customer. The old scales popped right off and the new ones popped right on. Took about 5 minutes to change them. You can check YouTube to see how its done. Hope this helps someone considering their options.
