Battery probably dead due to age, read review
These planes were probably made at least 5 years ago. So, the one I just bought (July 2022) has a bad battery and doesn't work. A voltmeter showed 0 volts on the battery. The battery is buried in the fuselage, so probably not easy to replace. The fuselage is securely glued together. It doesn't look easy to disassemble without messing it up. The manual actually says the battery is not replaceable.
The seller of this plane quite graciously compensated me due to the fact the battery was dead and wouldn't charge.
I'm going to try and replace the battery if I can find the right one. Hopefully I can get in there without messing up the fuselage too much. After that, hopefully it works.
I bought one of these quite a few years back when they were new. They flew well and were fun. Note that they are infrared control so won't work outdoors in sunlight.
