Great if you don't want crushed ice
It works great...if you don't want crushed ice! The unit it replaced had 2 or 3 blades in it for crushing ice....this unit only has one. If you want a glass full of crushed ice, it will take 2 or 3 minutes for this one to produce that much crushed ice. The old unit would do it in 20-30 seconds (before it broke). If you don't care about the crushed ice, it dispenses the full size "cubes" very efficiently. I am not sure why the blades are different...it is the exact same model that I replaced.

Top Notch Programmable Remote
The first programmable remote I bought several years ago required you to program every button by pointing the other remotes at it and pushing buttons to save the functions. Then you have to label what each button did. It took a couple of hours to get it set up, but worth it once I got it done to be able to use a single remote. Then of course, the kids would drop it, the batteries would come out, and it would lose the settings. Then I would start all over again! I finally got tired of that after doing it 3 or 4 times and gave up on it.
Jump ahead about 10 years, and I decided to see what was out there today. I found this harmony remote, and after I read the specs I bought one off Ebay (a refurb) for half the price of a new one. Boy, am I impressed! You plug it in via USB to your computer, go to their website, tell it what model devices you have, and it downloads the programming. Every device I wanted to program was available, and I was done in 10 minutes, and it works beautifully! Well laid out, top quality...could not be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend this remote.
