Great value
Great info for most repairs. Don't expect it to have perfect coverage of every last detail of repair - that's not what it is for. If you want even more detail, don't be a cheapskate, just dig into your pocket and buy the actual manufacturer's ship manual if you can even find one. For the basic and intermediate home DIY type, this is great.
And the seller was perfect - this is better than described. Highly recommend.

1 of 1 found this helpful Vivitar makes some things well, some things very well. This is very well made as a value monopod that will support a long lens. Light in the hand, strong locks, nimble quick release, channel locks are easy for older hands and firm when engaged. Turn the rubber foot, and a spike is revealed. It's a monopod, not a tripod, so use it accordingly. Not as compact as others, but an excellent trade-off for rigidity. If you shoot sports every day or bird every weekend in wilderness, consider a carbon fiber model for 5 - 10 times the price. If you don't plan to beat the heck out of your monopod with constant use and rough conditions, this should serve you well, and the money is well spent for the price.

A Little Gem.
This little wonder is perfect for taking eBay listing photos. Gets *extremely* close at widest angle setting, so I can show tiny detail on items like jewelry, fountain pens etc. I mostly use a light box, but for quick and easy shots the flash does not get blocked at widest zoom setting. File size at JPEG Fine setting is great for eBay listings. Lens is impressive. Color is very true. I shot tens of thousands of photos with the first one I bought. Battery door got loose (happens a lot even with DSLRs) so I just got another one of the same model for less than the cost of a replacement battery door. I use that second one for eBay. I kept the first one around, tape the door to keep it from getting worse, and just carry it in my pocket when I go out to take "found" shots of landscapes, people, whatever. Takes good basic video as well. the self-contained lens cover is a big plus. I have several very impressive 8x10 prints of images captured with this camera, It is not fancy, has no HD video or the many bells and whistles, but is a great "walk around" pocket camera. It is what it is - of course the lens has barrel distortion at wide angle, and the flash is only good for 10 feet at ISO 400 and with a tailwind, but it is an incredible value. Fair notice - it is greedy for batteries, but use rechargeables and you won't notice as long as you have spares. If either one of mine ever breaks, I get another.
