A little thin on quality
I purchased this set so as to have a more traditional camping kitchen look. It is functional and will probably hold up for a couple years but I was expecting it to be a little more robust, thicker, stouter (?) I'm not confident that this is the same as the equipment I grew up with - definitely not heirloom equipment! It seems that production cost won over quality. It has a 'masses produced' feel to it.
For aesthetics this definitely looks like an authentic camp kitchen, but when you get close, the metal is thin, the rolled seems on the edges of everything seem rough, the coffee pot basket is thin, fragile aluminum - untrustworthy- and the utensils are pliable. As for durability? I'm not confident that this will last a lifetime. But as for an authentic look at my campsite? It hits the mark and for that I am satisfied. As for cooking, I bring along another set...
